Sign Up/In with your Rumble Login
Locals will now require new users to sign up via Rumble using SSO. Any returning users can either sign in with their existing Locals credentials or login via their Rumble login. Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication scheme that allows a user to log in with a single ID to any of several related, yet independent, software systems.
Go to any of the sign up pages on Locals / app and click the button to Sign up with Rumble
You will be redirected to Rumble's login page, make sure you click Create one now! link at the bottom
Complete the sign up form
You will receive an email to verify your email address from Rumble. Open the email and click the link.
After clicking the link from your email, you will be directed to a page with a button "Continue to Locals" - click this button
Complete your profile set up on Locals
Before you start this process, we highly recommend you make sure you have verified your Rumble account previously to make the process as smooth as possible. To make sure your Rumble account is verified, you can login on Rumble.com directly and click your profile image in the top right corner. If you account is not verified yet, you will see that there is an option to Resend Activation. After you finish verifying, log out of your Rumble account.
Go to any of the sign up pages on Locals / app and click the button to Sign up with Rumble
You will be redirected to Rumble's login page, enter your Rumble login credentials
If you don't see this step and only see a Continue button, go to rumble.com and log out completely, then try these steps again.
Users who currently have a Rumble account who originally signed up via another social login like Facebook, Google, Apple will not be able to sign up to Locals this way. You will need to create a new Rumble account at this time.
You will see a button to Continue to Locals, click this button
Complete your profile set up on Locals
If you use the same email address for both your Rumble and Locals login, you can now login with your Rumble login with 1 click.

If you are not logged in currently on Rumble.com, you will be asked to Login. If you are already logged in on your browser to Rumble, you will skip this step.
3a. If it is your first time logging in to Locals with your Rumble login, you will be asked to approve this connection
This connection CANNOT be undone so make sure you want to do the connection
3b. If this is not your first time logging in and you've already approved your connection, you will see a Continue to Locals button instead. Click to continue.
You will be logged into Locals
If your Rumble account and Locals account currently have different emails, you will not be able to connect the 2 accounts to login with. You will have to log into one of your accounts and change the email to match the other first.
If you want to update your email on Locals, login to locals.com > account settings to update the email. After that, follow the process mentioned above.
This Rumble login is currently connected to another Locals account already. If you need assistance, please email support@locals.com.
This means that you have previously already connected your Rumble login with a Locals login. A common occurrence can be that you originally connected 2 accounts with the same email from Rumble and Locals. Then you changed your Rumble account email. And then created a new account with the original email. In this case, the original accounts are already connected. You will not be able to connect your new account.
If you do want to use Rumble login for the new account, you will need to follow the How do I create an account on Locals if I already have a Rumble account? process again.

This means that we didn't find any accounts on Locals with the email you just tried to connect with your Rumble Login. If you do have a Locals account, you are probably using another email. Emails must match during the first connection. If they don't, you can update your emails on either platform to match them first before trying again.

If you were trying to sign up/login on your mobile browser and received this error, try switching to a desktop browser instead.
The SSO is purely about using your Rumble login to log into Locals. There is no connection between the account benefits/status and content. If you want the exclusive benefits on either Locals or Rumble, you will still need to log into either of the platforms to access them.
If you are not being logged into the correct Locals account with the Rumble Login option, you might be logged into Rumble already but on another account. To solve this, go to Rumble.com and log out first. Then try logging in on Locals again.
If you are logging in with Rumble, you are logging in with your Rumble account. If you don't remember your Rumble password, you need to reset it on Rumble. However, you can still choose to Login to Locals with a Locals password even if you signed up via Rumble. You were most likely asked to create a password during sign up but if you didn't you can request a password reset by clicking Forgot Password on Locals. This password is for your Locals account ONLY. It will not change your Rumble credentials.

I'm logging in with Rumble but Locals is not showing me the correct account
If you are not being logged into the correct Locals account with the Rumble Login option, you might be logged into Rumble already but on another account. To solve this, go to Rumble.com and log out first. Then try logging in on Locals again.
