How do I enable/disable dark mode?

What is dark mode?

When you are at a community website on Locals, the background is white by default. For users who would prefer a black background instead, there is an option to enable dark mode.

Note: Dark mode will only apply when you are visiting a community website, it won't take effect when you are at locals.com or accessing your account settings.

How to enable/disable dark mode

Log in to a community website (i.e. communityname.locals.com) and click your username/portrait near the top right of the page. You will then see a drop down menu. Select "Enable Dark Mode." The background will turn black and any formerly black text will turn white. Once enabled, the option will appear as "Disable Dark Mode" instead.
