What are account settings?

These are global settings that apply to your Locals account, they are not individual settings in a specific community. Therefore, they need to be configured on Locals.com.

Where can I access these settings?

If you go to a community website that you’ve joined, if you look on the top right (next to the notification bell) you will see your username. Click there and select “Manage Profile” from the drop down menu. This will take you to your Account Settings on locals.com.

You can also go directly to locals.com and click on your username on the top right, and select “Account Settings” on the drop down menu.

At your Account Settings page, you will see 5 different tabs:
User, Password, Notifications, Billing & Subscriptions, and Communities.
