What is the Content Library?

The Content Library is a place that houses all the community creator's videos, live streams, podcasts(audio), PDFs or Articles (and Content+ if applicable) in one place. They can be organized into playlists by the creator, and supporters can either browse through the selections or use the search bar to find specific videos/live/podcasts/PDFs/articles. Only supporters have access to this feature.

How to access the Content Library

Launch the Locals app and go to the community you want to view content, by going to My Communities and selecting the community's icon.




From the community Feed page, select the Content tab near the top to access the Content Library. By default, all the content (starting with the most recent) that has been uploaded by the creator will be listed (videos, podcasts, PDFs or Articles). To filter what is shown by a specific type, tap the the filter on the left and select the type of content from the menu.



To sort the order that you see the posts, select the filter on the right (by default it's set to show Most Recent).



Tap the Playlists tab to access videos/live/podcasts/PDFs/articles that have been grouped into playlist categories. You'll also have the same filter/sorting options as the Content tab, to filter what type of content playlists you want to see or sort the order.

If the creator has uploaded any Content+ videos, you can select the Content+ tab to view and/or purchase them (if applicable). The left filter can be set to show all Content+, or only the Content+ that you have purchased, and the right filter to sort the order.




To access to Content+, you'll either need to pay for to purchase or subscribe annually, depending on what payment options the creator offers. In order to purchase access through the app, you'll need to pay using Locals coins currency.


Please note that not all communities have Content+ available.


You can also search for specific videos by keyword by selecting the hourglass icon on the top right (select the tab you want to search in, such as Content, Playlists, etc).



Type keywords to search that section of the Content library, or select cancel to back out.
