How can I measure and get insight on how well my posts do?

Creators are known for thinking outside the box so it's not surprising that they have a lot of ideas they want to bring to their supporters. But what type of content works the best? This might seem like a cop out but different things work for different communities. What we encourage our creators to do is to explore and try different things in order to increase engagement and gain new supporters.

An easy way to track what kind of posts work best for your community is through the Share Stats provided in the Community Admin Settings. To get here:

Log into your community
Go to the Community Admin panel (located under your username menu)
Go to Share > Stats on the left side menu

On this page, you are able to see all of the posts that have been shared and the statistics to go along with it including:

Date Post - the original date this post was posted on
Posted By - the author of the post (by default, you can see the posts made by you, the creator, and your team but you can also filter on posts made by your supporters to get additional ideas of what does well in your community)
Post - the actual post with a link to it
Share Page Visits - how many times the share page was loaded (which is only available if someone is not logged into your community and tries to view a post link, read more about it here)
New Sign Ups - how many people clicked the Sign up button on the share page and signed up (within 24 hours)
New Supporters - how many people landed on the share page and became a supporter afterwards
New Revenue - gross revenue earned from the new supporters

Information about share stats are only available from June 19, 2020 onward.

If you share your posts frequently on other platforms, this is a great way to test different content. If you haven't shared anything yet, why not start today?
