How do I upload a banner to promote on my community?
Locals allows creators to promote things from their end on their community website. You can add a banner that can direct members to an external link. This can be useful if you have other works you want to promote such as an online store or you can even use it to promote other Locals communities.
The banner will be shown on the right side of the community website.
You can add a banner for your community website in your Creator Admin > Settings
Enable External Banner
Select the group of users who will be able to see this banner
This can be useful if you only want to promote something to only Supporters or only Non-supporters
Enter the link you want users to be redirected to when they click on the banner
Locals will not be responsible for anything that happens to users once they are directed off of Locals
Upload an image to use for the banner
Image will be displayed to the users at max of 250x250px so ideally you upload an image that is 1:1 ratio with at least 128x128px
max file size is 2 MB
supporter file types include jpg and png
Make sure you click Save
