How do I set goals for my community?

Goals can bring a community together and allow everyone to contribute to a set target. As a creator, you can set a visible goal for your community on either reaching a certain amount of new supports or members.

How to set a community goal

Go to your creator admin panel
Go to the Settings tab
Go to the Community goal section

Goals setting

Enable Goals
Select your Goal Type
New Supports - counts the amount of new supports given in your community once you set the goal (new support includes any type of support given - 1 time & subscriptions given by old or new supporters)
Total Members - this goal is the total amount of members you want in your community (it will show how many members you have in your community)

Input a Goal - based on your Goal Type, enter the goal you want to reach i.e., 100 New supports or 1,000 Total Members
Select a Deadline - this is optional, if you don't select a deadline, the goal will be displayed as ongoing. Selecting a deadline will show more urgency and a definite target to your community
Save changes

If you have a goal of New Supports, please note that changing it to Members will make you lose your progress on the New Support goal. If you change it back to New Supports after saving it as Total Members, the count will reset to 0.

What happens after you set a goal

Once you set a goal, a new widget should appear for you and the members of your community, it will be displayed on the right side of the community.

What you and your team sees:

Total Members Goal

If you don't want to see the goal on your right menu as a widget, you can also just hide the widget by clicking Manage Widget and removing it from view. This doesn't disable the goal though, just your view of the widget.
