How do I leave a tip on a live stream/chat?
When a creator starts a live stream or chat, supporters have the option to send a tip with the message they send in the chat.
This message will be highlighted so that it's easier to see for everyone in the chat.
Click on the $ icon next to the chat input box
A pop up will appear on top of the input area where you can enter an amount (based in USD) that you want to tip. The minimum amount is $1.00 USD.
Enter a message and click the Submit button (airplane icon)
If you clicked the tip icon and submitted the message with it on, you will get a pop up confirming this tip. The payment will be made with Locals coins. You will see the amount from USD translated to how many coins you need. If you don't have enough, you can click the Get Coins link at the bottom.
Once you've confirmed the payment, your message will be displayed in the chat section and will be highlighted.
