How do I join a community on the Locals app?
If you chose to follow creators during account creation, their posts will show up on your My Newsfeed page. (if you didn’t follow any during account setup, your Newsfeed will be blank and you’ll see a “search for communities” button that will take you to the community search page) To join as a free member, simply tap on the title or text of the post, and an option will appear to join.
Alternatively, you can tap on the creator’s portrait (on the top left of their post), and it will take you to their profile page. From there, you can unfollow/follow, join their community, or scroll down and view all the creator’s community posts.
