How to collect mailing address?

Creators who would like to send out items to their members can now ask members to enter their mailing addresses.


How to enable collection of mailing addresses


  1. Go to your community admin panel
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Under Collect Mailing Address section, choose Yes for Show Mailing Input


Collect Address Settings

  1. If you enabled the collection of mailing address, you will also be asked to define who to show this field to: All of your members or only people who gave support. This is useful in case you only plan to send out items to people who gave you support.
  2. Click Save


Where do I go to retrieve these mailing addresses?


  1. Go to your community admin panel
  2. Go to Member Look Up
  3. In the Attributes drop down, select Mailing Address and Type as Yes

  1. Click Filter
  2. Once the page has loaded again, go to the bottom of the page and click the Export button
  3. Keep the page open and wait while it processes, once it is ready, the button will say Download.
  4. Click Download


Your member export will contain the list of users who have entered their mailing address.


There is a column called Mailing Address (Full) which contains all of the mailing inputs in 1 column or if you need each field separated into different columns, these are also available as:

  • Mailing Address Recipient
  • Mailing Address 1
  • Mailing Address 2
  • City
  • State/Region
  • Zip/Postal
  • Country
