How do I support a community annually?

Members who are not currently supporters

If annual support is available in the community, anyone who is a member of the community can select an annual subscription when paying with credit card. A subscription is auto-renewing so it will charge members every year. Members can also choose to pay with Locals coins and select the 12 month support option (to get the benefits of free months usually offered by creators). The 12 month support option is a one time charge and not auto-renewing.

Members who are currently credit card supporters

If you are a supporter who is currently subscribed already with a credit card payment on a monthly subscription, you can easily update it to annual under Manage Support by clicking the Update button on the community website (or on locals.com in Billing & Subscriptions).

Members who are currently non-credit card supporters

If you are a supporter who is currently supporting with another method such as coins, you will need to wait for the current support period to end before making a new support with either credit card (annual subscription) or coins (12 month support, one-time).

You can also just create a new subscription immediately but keep in mind that this will cause an overlap in support periods since support starts immediately after you pay. You will not be refunded the difference if you choose to create new support while you still have an ongoing support.
