How do I change my username or email address?
You can change both of these on locals.com.
Find the hamburger menu icon in the lower left side of the page once you've logged it. It should be next to your Username. Click on the Account Settings option in the drop down.
Once in Account settings, you can see your current username and email address at the top of the page. If you want to change either, this is where you would do it. Make sure to click save after making any changes.
Note: If you update your email address, you will be sent an email from Locals and will need to verify it.
Usernames must be
4-16 characters
only contain letters, numbers, dashes and underscores
must have at least 1 letter
Emails can only be changed to ones that DON'T already exist in the system. You cannot change to an email that already has an account on Locals. If you want to use an email that already exists in the system, you will first need to delete that account from the system in order to free it up.
