Where can I enter my mailing address?
Some creators may be offering to send merchandise to supporters in some cases. If they have stated that they have done so, they may ask you to input your mailing address into the system so they know where to send your item.
You can currently add this when you are in a community website (ex: communityname.locals.com) where creators have enabled the collecting of mailing addresses.
It will be located on the right side of the community website (It will usually say "Add a mailing address" but may sometimes be text regarding the merch you are getting)
This will then open up a pop up for you to enter in your mailing address.
All fields are necessary except Address 2.
Once you click Confirm, you will be asked to double check once again. You can click Edit if you spot a mistake or Save if everything is correct.
Please always double check the address you entered before saving, creators will not be responsible if they send out items to the wrong address because it was entered incorrectly.
If you need to Edit it even after you save, you can click the button again on the right side to open the pop up to adjust (it will now say Edit a Mailing Address)
If you only have access on a mobile device, you may not be able to see the right side menu on a smaller screen. In these cases, please enter the following URL into the address bar to prompt the mailing input pop up to open:
Make sure you are replacing the community name with the actual community. The url is also case sensitive so make sure when you enter the part after with /?mailingPopup that it is entered exactly as written.
If you also have the Locals app on your device, you may be redirected to the app instead. If this is happening and you are having issues navigating to the link correctly on your mobile browser, try uninstalling the app first and then loading the link. After you've added your address, you can reinstall the app.
