Locals and Rumble Connection FAQ

What is Rumble?

Rumble is Locals' parent company and creates technologies that are immune to cancel culture.

What is the difference between Locals and Rumble?

Rumble is a video-sharing platform that allows users to upload videos, create channels, and broadcast live streams. Locals is a subscription-based community platform that allows creators to post content and make money from their fans through subscriptions.

Why do I need to have a Rumble account/connect my Locals account? Do I need to do it?

In 2025 it will be required for all Locals users to have a Rumble account connected. We do not have a cut-off date yet. If you don't have a Rumble account, you must create one and link to your Locals account. This is to synchronize and provide more features more easily between our two platforms. Linking accounts means you can also log in to Locals moving forward with 1 click with the Rumble Login option.

Once you create the Rumble account, if you don't intend to use Rumble and only use Locals, that is fine. Requiring a Rumble account does not necessarily mean you need to watch content on Rumble now.

What if I use different emails on Rumble and Locals?

You can still connect the accounts even if they are different. For more info on how to connect your accounts, check out the links below. You can make the connection on Rumble or from Locals.
