RTMP Configuration Table
Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) allows creators to use external live stream tools (ex: StreamYard, OBS, etc) to manage their stream while it's live for a more engaging experience while broadcasting it to different platforms such as Locals. You may only start a stream using RTMP from the community website.

We suggest the following 1080p stream configuration for your audience's best viewing experience. Using different settings may impact the quality of your stream. If you’ve matched your settings to the suggestions below and continue having issues, please contact support@locals.com.
See details below the table if you are not streaming 1080p but are streaming in 720p.
If you are not streaming in 1080p, adjust your resolution width and height to 720x1280 and Video Bitrate (kbps) to 2000. All other settings should match the above grid.
