OBS Configuration Instructions
To configure OBS for live streaming, use the configuration table to match the setting for the resolution of your community. Using different settings may impact the quality of your stream. Note: The exact steps and options may vary depending on the version of OBS you are using. Make sure to consult the documentation or support resources provided by OBS for detailed instructions on connecting a custom RTMP key.
Launch OBS and go to "Settings" by clicking on the "File" menu.
In the "Settings" window, navigate to the "Video" tab.
Set the "Base (Canvas) Resolution" and "Output (Scaled) Resolution" to 1920x1080. This will be the resolution of your stream.
Choose "30" for the "Common FPS Values" dropdown menu to set the frame rate to 30 frames per second.
Under the "Output" tab, select "Advanced" as the "Output Mode."
In the "Streaming" section, set the "Bitrate" to 3500 Kbps (3.5 Mbps).
Select "CBR" (Constant Bitrate) as the rate control method.
Set the "Keyframe Interval" to "2" seconds.
Select "x264" as the encoder.
Set the "Encoder Preset" to "Ultrafast" for smooth performance.
Set the "Profile" to "Baseline."
Set the “x264 Options” to “threads=6”
In the "Audio" section, set the "Audio Bitrate" to 128 Kbps.
Navigate to the "Audio" tab and set the "Sample Rate" to 48 kHz.
Click "Apply" and "OK" to save the settings.

See details below the table if you are not streaming 1080p but are streaming in 720p.
If you are not streaming in 1080p, adjust your resolution width and height to 720x1280 and Video Bitrate (kbps) to 2000. All other settings should match the above grid.
