# Locals 101: What types of content can I publish on Locals? (2 of 5)

There are seven key types of content you can publish to your Locals community:

* **Written Posts**
* **Videos**
* **Live Streams**
* **Images**
* **Articles**
* **Audio Podcasts**
* **PDFs**

Written posts can be anything. Think short-form like tweets, up to long-form blogs. This means that, as a creator, you can publish everything from articles to comic strips to videos... all in the same place for your fans.

You don't need multiple sites to accommodate your varying types of media. Everything is all in one place.

Plus, **no external advertisement services** that inject ads over your videos. You control your content and how it is monetized.  And no fear of demonetization just for saying something someone might disagree with.
