# Locals 101: What are the member options? (3 of 5)

_By Bryan Lunduke, creator of the Lunduke Community_

There are two types of membership options for people who wish to follow you and your content:

**"Members" **- Anyone can create a free Member account, which allows them to follow (and like) the freely published content you post to your Locals community.

**"Supporter"** - People can pay (an amount you, as the creator, specify) to become a Supporter -- and gain access to commenting on all of the posts, as well as viewing any of the exclusive "Only for Supporters" content.

You get to choose which content is freely available to all Members, and which content is exclusively available for your paid Supporters.
