# How do I search for communities on the Locals app?

From your My Newsfeed, tap the icon on the bottom, 2nd from the left (like 2 conjoined circles). This will take you to the search page. You can type a keyword in the search bar on the top, or you can browse. By default, in the middle,  it will show trending communities.

 If you swipe/tap right on Interests, it will show communities based on your interests.
