# How do I log in on the app if I originally used my Google account to log in?

The Locals app doesn’t have the option to log in using your Google account, so if you originally logged in on the Locals website using your Google account, you won’t be able to log in to the app. 

To resolve this, launch the app and tap log in. Then, tap “Forgot Password” and enter your email address (the same email as your Google account) and tap “Send Reset Link”  to have a password reset link sent to your email address.

Log in to your email account and click the reset link to reset your password, then log in on the app with your email address and new password.
