# How do I filter what I see in the newsfeed on the app?

### How to filter posts from your My Communities feed

After launching the app, tap the My Communities icon near the bottom (it looks like 2 people). This will take you to your aggregate newsfeed that will show posts from all the communities you belong to on Locals.

Near the top of the feed, you'll see different tabs you can select to filter what types of posts you see (starting with the most recent):

* All - this is what is selected by default, and shows all the posts from all the communities that you belong to (including posts from members).
* Today - this will only show posts that were made that day
* Creators and Team - this will only show posts made by content creators and their team members
* Live - This will only show live streams that are currently broadcasting, live replays, or scheduled live streams 

### How to filter posts in a community feed

To view posts from a specific creator/community, you can navigate to a community page by selecting the community logo at the top of the My Communities page.

Just above where the newsfeed starts, on the left and right you will see post filtering and sorting options.

Tapping the filter on the left allows you to control whose posts you see in the newsfeed.

Selecting any of the options on the drop down menu will cause the newsfeed to only show posts in that category:

* All posts - will show posts from everyone in the community (other members, creator and creator team).

* Posts by [Creator Name] -  will only show posts from the Creator. 

* Team members only - will only show posts from the Creator’s team. If selected, you will also see a menu where you can filter it even more by specific team member, by clicking on that team member's portrait. 

* Who I'm following - will only show posts from members you are following in that community. 

* Bookmarks - will show any posts that you’ve [bookmarked](/en/article/how-do-i-edit-delete-bookmark-or-share-a-post-124b6w1/). 

* Supporters only - will only show you posts that are exclusive to supporters.

* My posts - will only show posts that you've published in the community.


Tapping the filter on the right allows you to sort the posts by different attributes.

* Most Recent - will sort the newsfeed by showing the most recent posts first.

* Most Likes - will sort the newsfeed by showing posts with the most likes first.

* New comments - will sort the newsfeed by showing posts with the newest comments first.

* Trending - will sort the newsfeed by showing the most recent popular posts.

* Oldest - will sort the newsfeed by showing the oldest posts first.

|| Note: If a creator has pinned any posts, these will show up in the newsfeed first regardless of your filter/sort settings.
