Connecting your Locals account with your Rumble Account on Locals
In 2025 it will be required for all Locals users to have a Rumble account connected. We do not have a cut-off date yet. If you don't have a Rumble account, you must create one and link to your Locals account. This is to synchronize and provide more features more easily between our two platforms. Linking accounts mean you can also login to Locals moving forward with 1 click with the Rumble Login option.
For FAQ about the requirement and act of connecting, click here.
When logging in, users may be prompted to connect from a pop up (if you've already connect your Rumble and Locals account, you will not see this - no additional actions are needed from you):
If you have a Rumble account, select "I have a Rumble account already" , if you don't select the "I don't have a Rumble" account option. Then click continue.
If you missed the pop up, you will be prompted again in a few days but you can also initiate a connect yourself. This option to connect will also be located on the right hand side menu on the community website as such:
After clicking Continue, you will be led to the Rumble login page where you need to login to the Rumble account you plan to connect with
OR if you were already logged into Rumble.com, you will skip Step 1 and come straight to this step where you will be asked to approve the connection/continue
Once you have logged in and approved, you will be sent back to Locals and you're account will have been connected.
After clicking Continue, will also be lead to the Rumble Login page but instead of entering login credentials (since you don't have an existing Rumble account), you should click the link to Create one at the bottom
You will then be taken to a registration page to create your Rumble account
After submitting the registration form, you will receive an email from Rumble to verify your email. Click the link in the email to verify.
The link should open up Rumble.com again and you will see something like this.
Click the Continue to Locals button
You will be redirected to Locals and your account connection is complete
If you selected an option and started to connect but did not complete the flow in it's entirety or dropped off an a certain point like the verification step, you will see on the right hand menu that the connection was not successful. You will be prompted again to connect or you are free to initiate the connect from the side bar again.
If you tried to connect to an existing Rumble account that has already been connected to another Locals account, it will not work as you can only connect 1 Rumble account to 1 Locals account. You may encounter an error like this if this is the case. You will need to connect to another Rumble account if you have one or choose the "I don't have an existing Rumble account" option to create a new Rumble account to connect to.
